Overview: The relationship between a mother and daughter living in a village, the confrontation of two lives - the life that is ending and the life that is beginning. The daughter is not a mere observer of her mother's life, but rather watches it, criticizes it, warns her mother against loving a person who does not deserve her. But her actions are futile and her mother's life, her mother's fate, becomes a warning to the daughter.
