Overview: Based on the novella Peka by S. Georgiyevskaya. For many years, civil engineer Pulat—who left to work on the construction of the city of Navoi—and his wife Lola—who at the time refused to go with him and later became a popular singer—had not seen each other. Their son has grown up. Realizing that the boy needs a father, and still preserving her love for Pulat, Lola travels with her son to Navoi to take part in sponsored concert performances there.
