Overview: At the 80th session of the International Olympic Committee in Athens, on 18 May 1978, Sarajevo was chosen to host the 1984 Olympic Games. The games were attended by 1,272 competitors from 49 countries in six sports. For the 14th Winter Olympic Games, a bobsleigh track was built on Trebević.
