Overview: Aurélie returns from a long trip to find her friends and ex-boyfriend in a cabin full of memories. Her sudden departure has left its mark on their relationship, which was already suffering after their participation in protests and strikes. Following a non-linear structure in which the pieces of the puzzle are revealed through a subjective atmosphere, Burning Away is about young adults dealing with the consequences of their reckless actions, as well as the complexity of reuniting with loved ones.
