Biography: Maria Gomes de Oliveira (Santo Antônio da Glória, January 17, 1910 – Porto da Folha, July 28, 1938), known as Maria de Déa or Maria Bonita (meaning "Beautiful Maria"), was a Brazilian bandit. She was the companion of Virgulino Ferreira da Silva, known as Lampião, and the first woman to participate in a group of bandits.
